FBT Year – employer information

Below is a timeline of the key items to help plan for the end of FBT Year on 31 March.

Payment of Held FBT Employers who have instructed Paywise to collect and hold FBT on their behalf will have these funds remitted to offset their FBT liabilities. Email  14 May 2025
Final Date for submission of FBT Returns to ATO Employer required to lodge annual FBT return with ATO. Email  21 May 2025
Reportable Employer Superannuation Contributions (RESC) The Paywise PDAs are compliant with STP Phase 2 enabling you to automatically record additional superannuation contributions each pay cycle.  Should you still require a RESC report please contact us so we can arrange this for you. Email 01 July 2025

Information for employees.

In most cases your employees do not need to take any action at the end of the FBT Year. Their salary packaging will continue into the new FBT year and appropriate reports that they require will be provided by you, the employer at the end of the Financial Year (30 June).

If any action is required by the employee, such as payment reimbursement claims, we will be in contact with them.
