Introducing Paywise

Your New Salary Packaging Provider

Following the integration of Paywise into the beCarWise family in 2023, we are excited to announce that we are consolidating our operations and trading under a single brand, Paywise.

Paywise is a leader in the salary packaging industry since 1989 and is a trusted partner for hundreds of organisations Australia-wide.

As a result of this change, we are transitioning the management of all beCarWise customers to Paywise.

If your car needs servicing, new tyres, or even a car wash, the Paywise Fuel Card makes it easy to manage these expenses. You can simply use your Paywise Fuel Card to pay for the following at participating centres across Australia:

  • Vehicle servicing
  • Tyre replacements
  • Car washes (if included in your budgeted running costs)

What if your preferred service centre isn’t a WEX partner? No problem! You can still get reimbursed.

  • Pay for the service yourself
  • Lodge a reimbursement claim via the Paywise App of Member Portal
  • Select the ‘Claims’ option and choose to have the funds deposited into your reimbursement bank account.

Tip: Always check if your service centre accepts WEX Motorpass before booking. If not, keep your complete tax invoice and corresponding receipt of payment, and submit your claim through Paywise – it’s quick and easy.

You’ve got two simple options:

  • Pay upfront and get reimbursed
    • Make the payment of your renewal directly,
    • Then, lodge a claim using the ‘Claims’ feature on the Paywise App or Member Portal and choose to have the funds deposited to your reimbursement bank account.
  • Pay directly from your Paywise account
    • Use the ‘Claims’ feature on the Paywise App or Member Portal.
    • Select BPAY to make the payment straight from your Paywise account.
Please note, payment requests must have BPAY as a payment option in order for Paywise to assess these on your behalf.

You have three choices when your lease comes to an end:

  • Replace your current vehicle with a new one
  • Refinance the residual and extend your lease to keep driving your current vehicle
  • Pay the ‘residual value’ owing to the financier and keep the vehicle

A dedicated Paywise Leasing Consultant can walk you through each option and help you decide what works best for your needs. Paywise is here to help you continue saving.

When you leave your employer, the novated portion of your lease ends and needs to be finalised. We’ll request a few details from you and your employer to complete the process and deactivate your fuel cards.

  • If your budget is in surplus, funds will be returned to your employer, who’ll apply any required tax and pass the balance to you.
  • If your budget is in deficit, the shortfall will either be deducted from your final pay or invoiced directly to you.

After termination, you’ll make payments directly to the financier. We’ll provide a direct debit form to make setup simple, and you’ll take over the ongoing costs of running your vehicle.

If your new employer supports novated leasing, you can request a mid-lease transfer with their provider. If they’re open to using Paywise, we’d just need the contact details of someone we can speak with.

If novated leasing isn’t available at your new workplace, you’ll simply continue making monthly payments to the financier and manage the vehicle expenses on your own.
