I was introduced to customer service at the age of 11, when my parents purchased a mixed business. It was a great introduction to what really matters in business—treating customers right.
As I grew older, my experiences in retail, retail management, and hospitality shaped my passion for being customer-focused. At 24, I ventured into the construction industry, where I took on roles in General Management and Industry Leadership, always keeping people and solutions at the forefront.
Fast forward 30 years, and my focus remained the same—looking after staff, customers, and ensuring we met their needs with tailored solutions.
Now, as a Business Development Manager with Paywise/Fleet Network, I realise that throughout my career, the core principle has never changed: a happy customer is the key to success.
